I HAVE AN AGENT!!

After a gazillion years of flying solo through the stormy skies of children's book publishing, I am thrilled to announce that I'm now an enthusiastic [and hardworking]client of the fabulous Deborah Warren and the impressive East/West Literary Agency!

NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION

I, Karen Ehrhardt, will strive to earn my place in Deborah's pantheon of best-selling and award-winning authors and illustrators -- as a result of earning some moola for Deborah and myself through the sale of my work.

There! You witnessed it. It's in black and white for all to see.

How will I achieve my resolution, you may ask?

- by setting and adhering to goals, such as these below

- by writing daily (writing includes revising, drafting, doodling)

- by attending every meeting of my critique group, The Revisionaries

- by bringing new work to every meeting of The Revisionaries

- by submitting at least 4 polished manuscripts to Deborah at East/West during 2017

- by reporting my progress (or confessing my inertia) via this blog

It is my intent to faithfully accomplish the goals listed above, and thus keep my promise to myself and to you, my non-existent blog followers!
